Week Two

A grand total of 4 lbs lost this week, with my metabolism catching up with me and not doing any exercise (because its been so hot!) it is to be expected. Regardless, I have dropped 16 lbs in two weeks now.

I’d be more chuffed with this weeks achievement if I wasn’t generally bummed out and feeling like the world was against me today.

All Tomorrows Parties

Week 1

A day later than I had planned because I was in a rush to get out the house yesterday morning and forgot to weigh in.

After one week back on the wagon I’m down to 300 lbs, a loss of 12 lbs. Even I’m astonished at that after one week, despite what I’ve achived in the past..

In addition to heaps of fruit, I’ve mainly been eating fat free noodles flavoured with stock and mixing in spinach, broccoli, chillies and mushrooms to fill it out. As a treat my girlfriend and I have started eating at ‘spud-u-like’. My usual choice is jacket and cottage cheese with prawns and a side of mixed bean salad.

For anyone interested I’m loosely following the slimming world diet, incorporating red days and green days. I tend to avoid red meats, pretty much opting just to eat fish as my source of meat, however I do eat red meat on the odd occasion. On the whole, I find eating a predominantly pescetarian diet much easier (and tastier!), plus the avoidance of saturated fats are never a bad thing.

In addition to all this I’m cycling a couple of nights a week, low mileage at first whilst I build up my fitness again.
